Dean Group are delighted to announce two recent recruits to our established team, one being a replacement with added responsibility and one a brand new position which has been identified to cope with the substantial and further growth plans.
Teresa Foster has joined the company as Quality and Technical Manager and brings with her a B.Eng., a Masters in Advanced Metallurgy (M.Met), and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Modelling. Teresa’s extensive metallurgical experience will enable DGI to improve it’s already impressive technical backup and support and will be invaluable as we look at further developments with our specialist aluminium line, which will be commissioned in the second quarter of the year. Teresa is also heading up the quality team which has also expanded recently with additional inspectors and equipment to service both UK manufacture and the sourced work from our China supply partners.
As our company continues to grow, so must our systems and procedures and Teresa brings valuable big company experience from industry sectors ranging from automotive, medical, aerospace and chemical processing.
Our other key strategic appointment is a new Operations Manager. Graham Stubbs brings with him 2.1 Bsc. (Hons) degree in Production Engineering with Business Studies and MCI NVQ level 4 in management, but more importantly, 24 years of operational experience working in the automotive, railway, aerospace and foundry industries, ranging from small privately owned companies through to 3 blue-chipped global organisations.
A keen rugby player, hill walker frustrated golfer, Graham brings commercial awareness and has a proven track record in problem solving and change management, and has consultancy and business improvement experience at an international level. Graham says,
“Dean Group are a stable and ambitious company who have experienced sustained growth through difficult trading conditions. My role is to maintain and underpin this success and assist in the implementation of procedures and systems that will enable us to expand still further, and to tap into new potential markets”.
Dean Group will continue to invest in people, systems and equipment in order to support the ambitious growth plans, whilst not losing sight of our established customer base.
