Dean Group Fundraisers

Sponsor the Dean Group Fundraisers in a 5K run for the RNLI. 

As a business we understand the importance of our contribution to charitable organisations, and how we can raise money for those organisations that do so much to help others. Over the year we aim to do our best to organise several fundraising activities. We encourage staff to come up with fundraising ideas, and partake in charitable activities where possible.

This year staff member Elizabeth Vince has already completed a hike up Mount Snowdon raising £120 for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the Dean Group Fundraising Team.

Our next event is a 5K run for Manchester’s Run In The Dark on the 11th November 2015. Seven of our staff members are taking part in the event, raising money for two special causes.  As a company we have already made a donation to the Mark Pollock Trust, a charity raising money for research into spinal cord injury. Our sponsored charity for the event is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Many of our staff members spend their time taking part in fishing, sailing, and other water based activities. The RNLI consists of trained volunteers who dedicate their time to saving lives. It is because of their services we can be safe in the knowledge that help is at hand in emergency situations out on the water.

Some of the incredible services that the RNLI provide are:

·         24 lifeboat Search and Rescue

·         Seasonal Lifeguards

·         Flood Rescue

·         International lifesaving programmes
